Arzl – 1969

A pop song that was a hit at the time in Austria was Mendocino by The Sir Douglas Quintet. It was always playing everywhere we went during our ten days or so, but I never heard it played anywhere back in the UK. That tune always takes me back to those summer days of 1969 and that little village of Arzl.
